What is your GO TO or FAVORITE 50 cal. accuracy load-Bullet,Sabot, Powder, Primer.?

My inline is a CVA Accura V-1

I would say that it will depend on the rifle. My White likes 460gr Bullshops with 75gr of 777 2f and a #11 primer.... My T/C Impact likes a 270gr Speer Deep Curl with 90gr of BH209 and a Win 209 primer..

:D

That's a real toss up between my V2 and my MR. Blackhorn 209, Fiocchi Primers and 275 grain Parker Ballistic Extreme with Harvester crushed or e-z load smooth sabots. :yeah:

Ray..........

I set up an Accura V1 for a great friend a few years back, who just so happens to be in northern Saskatchewan at this very minute hunting bear. His breech plug was opened to shoot BH209 (.031"), he uses 75grs by WEIGHT and a Barnes 250gr. TMZ bullet. At 100yds, it'll dot the (i) and is a very impressive shooter. He's killed EVERY animal he's ever shot at with it and some at considerable distance. His nickname is "Gutpile", as every time his rifle fires, there's always a gut pile left behind.

It depends on what rifle I grab. But in my Optima, which is kind of like yours... 90 grains Black Horn 209, CCI primer, 260 grain Hornady PT Gold with supplies sabots.

110gr BH209, Barnes 290gr TMZ, Win 209 primer lauched out of my CVA Apex

100yds, 4th shot after scope adjustment, most of my rifles like this load, one doesn't, the old Buckhunter needs a 250gr TEZ with 100gr BH209

your user name made me :)

If I had to pick one load that works well in every one of my .50s (three inlines and two fast twist Green Mountain barrels on caplocks) it would be 85 grains GOEX FFFg under a 300 grain XPT in Harvester short black sabots.

Knight Disc Extreme

90 grain BH209
Win 209
MMP short black
.451 300 grain Nosler Partition

Tack driver..........no.Shoots about 1 1/4-1 1/2 at 100 yds.But does it EVERY time.Gun goes bang EVERY time I pull the trigger. If I do my part, everything I shoot at ends up with a very, very short life expectancy.

My Omega likes most loads that I stuff down it but my favorite is the 460 gr NoExcuse with 75 gr. Swiss or Schuetzen 3f, Variflame with small rifle primer. Lobs them into very small groups, even at 200+ yds and deer never run away when hit with big lead. I should add, I removed the QLA on this rifle. YMMV

TC Prohunter 50
120+ gr. by volume BH209
Parker 275 BE w/Parker supplied short black sabot
CCI Mag 209

Going to try Lukes (Arrowhead) 310 gr MH as soon as they arrive

I own a Optima and a Wolf.

Both Ml's show a liking for two sabot combinations and bullet combinations.

It likes .452 bullets with the MMP short black sabots and .458 bullets with the Harvester black crush ribbed. I have tried several different assortment of bullets in those respective sizes and gotten pretty much equal results with only one bullet showing a little better promice. All of them were excellent though.

My go too load in both ML's is 100 Gr of BH209 followed by .458 Hornady Interbond with the Harvester Black Crush Ribbed. Results are just a hair over 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Ill take that for a ML under $200 bucks.

My .50 Omega will be sticking with my tried and true deer hammer. 110 grains T7 with Barnes .290TMZ.

My .45 smokeless McStevens will be launching 10/52 grains of SR4759/H4198 pushing a .250 Barnes TEZ

Still working on the White Lightning .504 on which conical its going to like. (It's on the back of my project list as I don't need it till mid December after the other two get there turns.)
