Something interesting i just came across going through my notes/pics, Same GG bullet as above. This really shows the difference in 2 different Over Powder Wads! In my testing i have found the .060 Vege fibre wads to work the best with my Paper Patched bullets, And with Grease Groove bullets i have found that 1/8” Wool works the best.

1/8 Oxyoke brand Wool Wad (store bought) I used a .50 Cal Wad here

And with my .060 Vege Fibre Wad, This didn’t work out so Hot

Is the .060 veg wad a .45 cal wad?

Seems like the .50 cal wad might have sealed better.

Another one worth trying is the 1/8th" Nitro cards by Circle Fly. They are cheaper than veggie wads too.

They look like this

GM54-120, Those do work good, forum member Harleysboss uses them.

I own Fred Cornell Press Mounted Wad punches, i bought them last year for .45 Rifle, and .50 Cal, i buy .060 Vege and .060 LDPE (low density Poly) in Bulk form From BACO, I can turn out a TON of Wads in just a few minutes

About 20 minutes time

Yes they are .45 Cal Rifle Wads from my Press Mounted punch. There are no issues with the .060 Vege, or .060 LDPE Wads sealing, they fill the Grooves Good N Tight! When using Wool wads i have always jumped up to a .50 Cal Wads in my .45, .54 in my .50, and .58 in my .54

My theory is the Vege, and LDPE wads stick to the base of the Grease Groove bullet just long enough to effect accuracy (base of the bullet is what steers it) And The Wool seperates away upon exiting. I absolutely swear by the Vege, and LDPE For paper patched bullets, but NOT with Grease Groove bullets, at least in my testing.
This is an LDPE Wad in my .45 Cal, as you can see, VERY tightly sealed bore! You are pushing air out the nipple all the way down
