What are your thoughts on this one? Just bought one for my ML G2 Contender 209x50
Due to deeps wood surroundings the longest maybe 100 yds. Minimum anywhere in between
 
It sounds like a perfect fit for your needs to me. :yeah:
 
I don't use the Leupold models but I do favor the Nikon 2-7x32mm scopes on a number of muzzle loaders. Like you I hunt woods. And when I am walking around its on 2x. When I sit in a thicket where shots are under 50 yards, its 5x. When I want to check a shape or shadow, then the 7x comes out. I find the light gathering ability of the 32mm very excellent as I am sure you will also with the 33mm. Also they are a small scope for the most part and they just seem to fit easy on the rifles. And Nikon has excellent eye relief with I am sure the Leupold you are using does. I think you are going to like it.
