Has anyone ever made their own cusom stock for their inline rifle? I have a nice walnut stock blank i am thinking of making one for my t/c firehawk just because.

I have a nice chunk of black walnut I plan on trying myself

I was all set to before boyds offered a stock for my Omega. I still plan on trying it someday but it got pushed way on the back burner.

While not making the stock itself, when I convert a Cooper M22 CF to a ML the wood stock will be replaced with a Mc Millan flat top in which I will have to inlet for from scratch.

I have 2 black walnut blanks. One is meant for another .32 build, the other is a back up but may go to one of my MK-95's. I plan to do them both myself after I build the .32.

I have done a couple of MK85s, one in French walnut and one in English walnut. I can email pics if someone can post them for me. Both were done from the blank without machining.

Thanks,

Bill V
