im surprised that there are still some NIB elite's still available. i picked one up with a serial # under 100 saw a few more available in 50 and 45 cal.

mine is a s/s model in .45 cal this will be my first .45 in a muzzle loader
 
Congrats! Got my 45 Elite a few months and really enjoy shooting it.

What twist rate do u have?

Get it from. Jim's?

Both the 200gr SSTs and 195gr Expanders shoot great from my rifle.
 
All Elite 45s should be a 1-30 twist unless you managed to get a hold of a early prototype. I only know of one that might exist but the source is questionable.

yes jim's s/s model i would say 1-30 twist ..im looking at trying hornady 200 grn xtp's and have some 180 grain plated from extreme bullets.
