Index while loading?

I've honestly never indexed. Makes complete sense to me though, I'm going to start. I've done alot of bowhunting over the years...consistency of routine there is huge. Maybe indexing doesn't help very much for most ML's, or maybe it does.....but it certainly can't hurt to do it. Thanks for the good info in this thread.
 
I heard about that here quite some time ago. It is just a habit now even in the field.
 
I like this idea. I checked my TC and the "grooves" align at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock so I can use the sight for alignment of the slots as well. I remember when I posted that I was using a force gauge to seat the sabot at the same pressure all the time - there were some that scoffed at that. I take 110 grains of BH209 by volume and transfer that to actual weight in grains and make every powder charge identical. I like consistency and will give the indexing the sabot a try this year.
