When looking down the bore of my optima the rifling seems more pronounced. As if the grooves are deeper. Has anyone else noticed this on their CVA. Maybe it's just my imagination.

I have the Optima pistol, not the rifle, but the rifling looks like it should in my gun. :yeah:

My old traditions BuckHunter has the most pronounced rifling of all my muzzleloaders. Our TCs and CVAs seem about the same. All shoot very well but the BuckHunter takes the most effort to load using the same bullet/sabot combo.

I've only had the Optima out to the range once. So far I like what I see. Shooting 290 grn tmz yellow crushed rib sabot. Fit seems pretty good. Looking down the barrel of the LHR and triumph barrels don't seem to have the deep rifling.
