Just got my 5lb jug. I split it with some other hunters, so I didn't want a half empty jug sitting around for too long.

I had some empty 10oz containers left over so I filled them each with a pound of powder. The containers are full with a little headspace left over. This isn't a problem right? I figured less air, better for storing, but just double checking.

I know. I was just making a point that the powder lasts a long time without losing power.

From their web site.

Blackhorn 209 is virtually non-hygroscopic. Changes in temperature or humidity do not affect performance. Blackhorn 209 will not setup or degrade like some other propellants. Shelf life is essentially unlimited.

Just got my response back from Western Powders (thought I would have to wait a few days for a response, came back within about 10 mins), they said no problem filling up the 10oz container.

It was just a nagging question in the back of my mind since I don't have much experience with bulk powders.
