CVA pistol kill

Saturday shot doe at lasered 88 yds using CVA Optima pistol. Load was 80 gr (volume) Blackhorn, 300 gr Hornady sst 452. and black mmp 24 sabot, also using 209 cci mag primers. Doe was shot facing me and was hit at base of neck on shoulder side, bullet traveled entire length of deer and was found just under hide next to tail. Bullet was mushroomed only to the top of shoulder of bullet, but deer was down in a heap. Would post pic of bullet, but computer skills lacking.

8) Congrats on the pistol kill. I found 70gr. BH (volume) to be pretty stout. I might give 80gr a try since you and Busta use that load, to see how it shoots in my Optima V2 pistol.
