Did a trestle coat, pistol grip reinforcement and camo job on my "myrtle wood" Bison stock. It had that black "orange peel" type texture and I took that off, some people think it is composite but stripping showed "myrtle wood" is the material. The pin I put in the front screw hole for the forearm sling stud disappeared. Can someone measure the distance from end of forearm to the stud and post here or PM so I can get it back in original location. Thanks, W

The Bison I had has the front sling post in the forward stock if memory serves me. I never liked the thimble attachment on the barrel, too far forward IMO. I no longer have the rifle so no help with measurement.

larrybud thanks, guess had a brain fart. Yes checked the barrel and there on the rod thimble is the sling stud. Again thanks, W
