For deer, a 200 grain 40 caliber XTP in a crush rib , driven by 70 grains of 3f Swiss. Velocity from my Black Diamond Super 45 XR, 1800 fps. For bear, a 357 caliber 180 grain XTP in an MMP, over 60 grains of 3f Swiss. Guessing on the velocity, but that charge gave a 180 40 cal 1750 fps. Good luck to all! Tag early and often.

The plan is to use a Hornady Great Plains 385gr lead conical with 75gr of Schuetzen 2F for bear and muley buck. Next year the same load for elk and bear.

Used a 472 grain 45 conical for muley buck will use a 524 grain 52 or 54 Cal conical for cow elk.

For my TC X7, I'll be using Speer DeepCurl .44cal/240gr bullets, Harvester Green CR sabots, over 110gr of BH209. Rem SST Primers.

For my Knight Disc Extreme, I'll be using Lehigh .452cal/250gr bullet, Harvester crush rib black sabot, 110gr BH209, CCI Mag Primers.

At the range two days ago, got them both to shoot 1.5" groups @ 100yds, plenty for minute-O'-deer.

You must kill a lot of trees when those slugs blast through the game?
