While weighing charges for an upcoming ML match next weekend, my mind wondered contemplating a grease groove bullet for a 50 cal (very similar to the 52 500 bullet), so after weighing charges, I went ahead and compared a few other bullet diameters. Each bullet was cut to 0.100" (close as I can get as pure lead is not east to machine). Just for kicks, I turned a piece of copper and brass.
I'll use the word Girth like a large/old fish!
So, for anyone who ever questioned how much weight would be added/subtracted from their favorite bullet if they made it longer/shorter, maybe this will help.
