Would like to see how this bullet does from my White Mountain Carbine. Should I use some kind of wad with it? Tried 240 grn 44 cal xtp in a crush rib and it was very tight. Last shot I took was with the 275 grn Maxi and hit the bull. Sorry. I shoulda put this in Sidelock/ Traditional.

Are you talking about terminal performance? What about a wad with other bullets?

A wad will help prevent leading when shooting conicals, especially with a load a bit on the hot side.
