I unfortunately posted first in the wrong forum, then didn't correct myself when I shared the link to that in the inline forum.

My mistake....... Sorry for any confusion. :d'oh!:

Hopefully getting it less confusing this time, Bob is coming out with a new bullet which can be shot in PRODUCTION inline muzzleloaders.
Notice that Bob shot his new Black Max from a production muzzleloader using triple seven pellets.

Thank you for the information...

Something not right with the last link.

In the first one, bullet on left has a cupped base the one on the right has a flat base. :huh?:

Sounds good though.

No mistake at all.
Looks like they are listening and learning what it takes to shoot a ML at long range without a sabot... go heavier, thin jacket, soft core, cavity base..
With exception of the nose shape - same characteristics of PP bullets of the 1800's.

By the looks of it its also made for sabots. The Match Hunter is very very long for most 50cal sabot rifles. IIRC Gunwerks had to use a really fast twist to get them to shoot. The 270gr Emax shot fine sabotless. It is a MH with just a BE jacket. The problem is that its long AND has a short bearing surface. The profile of the Emax is not sabot friendly and Parker recommends against using them in sabots.
