My HB #106 as pictured has a Leupold VX-I 2x7x33 Scope with Burris Signiture Select rings and bases. The setup used to shoot the following groups had my Zeiss Conquest 3.5x10x50 mounted with Warne rings and bases.

well i am blessed!!!!!! my gun likes 44 grains (weighed) 5744 and as follows 300 std XTP in mmp short
300 grain magtip in mmp short
300 grain barnes MZ in hph-12
all 3 shoot in the same POI if i am patient on a 70-75 deg day
shooting all 3 loads in 3 shot groups i have a total group of 1 1/2 inches at 100 yrds POI is 3 inches high at 100 yrds

also 43 grains of 5744 and a 225 grain XPB barnes in an mmp short is a 3/4 in group for 5 shots and that POI is centered directly above the above group only 1 inch higher POI lol i dunno but i am gonna load a barnes mz on opening day!!!!!!!!!

300 gr Barnes Orginal semi spitzer
orange mmp sabot
60 grs VV N120
WW 209 primer
MV 2250-2280 depending on the rifle

Great load for longer range.

43 grains 4759
250 SST
supplied sabot, trimmed
win primers
This is the result last week after sighted in new scope

250gr Bonded TC Shockwave
42gr N-110
MMP HPH12 (I throw out the supplied sabot)
Win 209 primer
RW Ventliner
SS Savage 10ML2 w/ black composite stock
This combination consistently gives me 2" or better groups at 100 yards without annoying flyers.

300SST_38110_HPH12.jpg

Group measures 0.4" at 100 yds...
300 gr Bonded Shockwave
38.0 gr of VVN110
Win 209 primer
MMP HPH-12 sabot (trash the supplied sabot)

My favorite load is 67 grains of H322 as fired from my 45 caliber 10ML. The load consist the Harvester sabot, fiber wad, 200 grain SST, and the CCIm primer.

The 103 yard group is 5 shots measured at .512".

Rick, I see you nearly shot your knife again!

Good Shooting

So far the load of 44gn 4759, 250 Barnes TMZ with supplied sabot, Fed 209A primer, and RW liner has been good to me. Under MOA for 100 yards. FPS ave was 2177...

My best load thus far is 65gn of IMR4198, 300gn XTP .452, short black Harvester for 45/50... Moving along at 2272 and MOA at 100yds.

My most accurate load to date in the 10MLII is:
300gr SST
HPH24 sabot
62grs N120
Fed. 209A primer
Velocity 2330fps

In the past week I have fired four three shot groups that have measured under 2" center to center....from 200yds.

Savage loads

I shoot 44.5 gr VV N110 with 250 SST & supplied sabot out of one ML II and one ML 1 and both shoot 1" or less @ 150 yrds.
Couldn't tell ya velocity but shoots great.

I know this might be cheatin', but my gun will shoot 1" with 42 grains of 4759 and a 250grain XTP. The tech at the factory shot the group. If I could get my hands on 4759, my search for a load would be short lived.
