I have a .50 t/c renegade with a rough barrel, I have someone interested in buying it but was reading about sleeving the barrel. It shoots fine I just don't want multiple of the same gun and one with a rough barrel. What type of results could/should be expected?

Re: sleaving accuracy

You might be thinking of "Re-boring" which would take you to the next caliber larger. Such as re-boring your 50cal to a .54cal. I think someone mentioned a guy named Bobby Hoyt that does this. Someone probably has his number for you.

Re: sleaving accuracy

If a good liner and done correctly - it will shoot as good as new.

Thanks, I had heard of Hoyt I just wasn't sure of what to expect as an end result.

Thanks for the links Shawn

Browndogz, I’ve had Robert Hoyt do a few relined and barrels for me and he is very good. I’m sure I’ll have more work done by him in the future. Oh yea, and he doesn’t break the bank either.
