Hi Guys:

I'm trying to replace my Rem. OEM spring with a Wolff #28. I have the Sinclair spring compression tool, have removed firing pin cross pin, and unscrewed the threaded firing pin from the firing pin head that goes into the bolt plug. Here is the problem: I cannot get the firing pin re-threaded into the firing pin head or get the firing pin cross pin back into the firing pin. I have spent a couple hours on this and I am about ready to give up. Can anyone provide some advice/guidance?

Thanks in Advance,

Joe

Is pin hole just slightly not lining up after screwed back on? If so thread in and out till close as possible then redrill cross pin hole.

Thanks for getting back to me Bestill;

No, the problem is getting the threads to realign to allow the parts to be screwed together.
