What is the maximum load recommended for a 700 ML?
I'm using tripple 7 pellets and BH 209.

And of course all substitutes are not created equal. The advice from Remington is up to 150 grains of Pyrodex. If you were to try that with B209(after any necessary conversion) you would have much higher pressure, similar with 777.

Then if you used American Pioneer/Shockey's Gold you would have pressures in line with or below Pyrodex. That's one of the reasons the B209 site shows starting with lower charges if one had been shooting Pyrodex, or some if the other substitutes.

Originally Remington said you could use up to 150gr by volume of Pyrodex... then they revised it to 120 grain of any powder and that is what you find the the owners manual: 120 grain max of any black powder or substituent.

They later mentioned that most of their 700 ML rifles shot best at under 120gr anyways.

Blackhorn209 lists right on the bottle that a max charge is 120 gr by volume...

All my 700ML's have shot best at 80 to 100 gr by volume.... But at 120 the groups weren't that bad, just not as good at 80-100.

YMMV
