The winds finally laid down enough (less than 15mph) to hunt some early
Potomac Rivers early season Walleye's. The water temp was 36 degree's and the air felt just as cold with the wind blowing as it was.

The days take was 20 plus Walleyes with all but 2 fish over 20 inches, 1 Musky at 38 inches and a lost Smallmouth at 21.5 inches.

A "good" fish day but a cold one.

Great report choc-dog!!!

I cant wait to hit the water!!!!!

It was about 54 on Friday and we hit Lake Michigan for some brown trout action on crankbaits. We have a warm water discharge from a power plant that draws trout all winter. But you need to be able to launch a boat. This hasn't been possible since January. What a beautiful day plus we caught about 20 browns from 1-4lbs. Small fish but awesome on the grill. Tight lines everyone :D

The walleyes are just about to go into post spawn here on Greers Ferry Lake.
