One more thing I might add that surprised me. Where I shoot is a large area in the Black Hills National Forest that is designated as a shooting area. There was at least 100 yards behind my target before a hill rose up. I could see my shots kicking dirt on that hill and it didn't seem like there was much bullet drop at all. No way I would take a shot over 100 yards (and even that may be questionable with open sights), but I thought that, at that range, with only two pellets, the bullet would have dropped more. It probably did and I didn't realize it, but it seemed pretty straight.
Thanks.
