What would be a good muzzleloader that I could use for coon hunting with the guys? Right now I use a Henery .22, but I'm looking to go back in time a little bit further to give it more of a traditional feel. I would much rather stick to percusion cap, but I will keep my mind open for flint locks too.

A 32 caliber would be plenty. Traditions makes one called the Crockett rifle. Even a .50 caliber loaded down could do the job but you better head shoot them.
