Ain't the biggest but .....

Postby 1874sharpsshooter » Tue Oct 31, 2017 8:37 pm

Since he is coming around I might just see if I can stick an arrow in him . Archery hunting on the wide open plains is a stalking challenge sometimes but I might get out the ghillie suit and see what happens . I know he won't live through Rifle season around here anyway otherwise I would leave him for another year .

It's hard to see in these photos but he is actually a 4x4

He's looking tall. I would love to see a success story. I like it when a hunter sets sights on an animal and gets the job done.

Update:
I saw him yesterday and let him walk . He broke off the right side quite a bit and one tine on left side was broke . I figured he must be quite the fighter and since he was all broke up let him go so he could work on breeding all the girls he had with him :)
