Along with various muzzleloaders and Ruger Single Actions, another common ground in my family is the Marlin Lever Actions. I have a few JM marked Marlins. Anything from the 39A to 1895G. Anyone else a fan?

I've acquired a few, but I don't do anything with them. A 35 Rem from the late 50's, a 30-30 from the 60's and another of fairly recent manufacture.

I have 1894C chambered for 357 Magnum, not as old as yours but I bought it before they sold out to Remington.

closest I get is an original 1886 winchester in 45/70

I've owned one 336 in 30-30, another 30-30 waffle-top with the fat fore-end, one 30-30 with the 24in barrel & 1/2 magazine, one M39, one 1984 in 44mag cal and one of the Glenfield economy versions of 336 in 30-30 caliber. unfortunately they've all went lookin' for greener pastures.

currently own a 1972 vintage 336 in 35rem caliber which may also be lookin' for a home.

BuckDoeHunter and Squeeze those are some beautiful rifles!

Marlins, Rugers and Buck Knifes are tough to let go...
