I need some dimensions on arrows. Could not get anything I wanted today because all the locals here only sell complete arrows and I just wanted a couple shafts.

Here is what I am looking for, an aluminum arrow shaft that is around .300 - .310" OD then a carbon arrow that will just fit inside of that aluminum arrow shaft. This is not for Bowhunting, I am wanting to try to make a ramrod for a small caliber muzzleloader.

Thanks,

only thing i had were some old alum- easton XX75 2118 were .338
and carbon- Beeman ICS hunter 340 went .301
the carbon didnt even come close to being able to slip in the amuminum. you would have to get an awfull slim carbon after you found a skinny enough alum.
Swinglock does it with a 6.5 inside a .45 but ive never seen it outside the pics

I was sort of thinking it was not going to work for a .32. Would probably be easier for 45 and 50.

Oh well.
