Anyone own one of these? The last time i was over at Buffalo Arms i was talking to Dave Gullo (owner) i asked him about his White Buffalo Long Shot on YouTube? Dave told me the Rifle was a Borchardt 45-100, he was shooting over 1,100 yards. Dave swore by the Borchardt Action. I looked them up and they are out of my league financially! Just curious if anyone has one, experience with them? Here is a link to the YouTube video of Dave shooting the Long Buffalo Shot with the Borchardt, I believe he donated this rifle to a Museum

Yup, got one in 45-100 also. My 1000 yard rifle. 34 inch, 1:18 twist Green Mt. barrel. Very accurate. X

Held a few, but never owned one.
Although the date of the video is 2009, later that same year Dave were paired/squadded together at the World LRML Championships and as I recall - he wasn't that young!
Good guy as we still communicate often.

Real good shooting,45-100 i think that means .45 cal bullet with 100 grns. of powder?right

You would be correct. Many original American BP cartridges were designated by caliber and BP amount. .45-100, .45-70, .32-20, .44-40, the list goes on-and-on in both rifle and pistol cartridges.

There was a 45-90 on gunbroker.com listed for almost $5000.00.I thought my 1917 -1911 was valuable.not even close.

Go to GunsInternational and looks at some of the really nice "Antique Rifles" or my favorite line ---- Alexander Henry.
