Buck popped out with 5 doe at first light on opening day. 93yd shot out of a ground blind using a Caldwell Dead Shot Field Rest. Deer never took another step when the gun cracked.

Rem 700ML McGowen .400/408 1:20 twist barrel.
Copper annealed 240gr Cutting Edge sabotless bullet @2700fps.

Small entrance, nice exit.

Congrats! That one is gonna make for some excellent eating!

Nice rifle too :yeah:

I'm still waiting to find a good donor action for my smokeless project.

CONGRATS :applause: :applause:

Good shooting and the deer looks really healthy ( parasite free ). It's time for the BBQ :!:

Ray......... :yeah:

I neck shot this one with a sabotless Barnes 195MZ around 100yds this morning. Watched it drop in the scope. The 195MZ's are running around 2760 FPS in my gun.

Congratulations. Good looking rifle, SML rifles are very interesting. Good luck and be safe.

Congrads! Wow that rifle is sure working great. Nice deer. Those will be nice and tender. Got my mouth watering already.
