Had this guy just out of range on day 1 of a 6day hunt. He ambled through thick woods and brush and by the time I found where he exited it was too late to get a shot. Had he come where I thought he would i would have had him on day one.

Frustrating, but good in the long run. I saw him again on day 5 right before last light. Thought about a shot at 190 but thought he would come in based on other deer feeding closer. Got him broadside at 109 and let it fly. He limped on three legs for 75 yds and went down and couldn’t get up. Had to put another one in the tough SOB but he was soon done.

Forst pic is a trail cam pic, second is after he expired. What a rush...glad to pop the ML cherry.

:applause: That's a heck of a buck. And it makes it even sweeter it's your first with a muzzleloader!

Great Deer, congrats. Kansas has some fantastic bucks.
