My TC Pennsylvania Hunter flintlock. Took her out with some SPG lubed 250 grain Lee REALs, an o.p. wad and 70 grains of 3f Swiss.
They loaded easliy. Bottom band slipped in, second band had a little contact and heavy thumb pressure got the upper band below the crown.
Ramming was smooth and easy.
There was ZERO leading. Whew!
Groups showed a LOT of potential. 3 shot, 50 yard groups were between 2 & 11/16ths and 3 & 7/16ths, with two shots in each group measuring 13/16ths to 1 & 3/16ths.
This first outing is better than she's been doing with patched ball!
So. For a deep grooved 1-66 ball barrel, I'm impressed!
She might just live up to her name!
