In his book, Hell, I Was There , Elmer Keith talked about seeing two golden eagles throwing bighorn sheep off cliffs.  Watch these eagles throw wild goats off cliffs:

Clever birds ! Here in za the eagles will take a turtle and drop it on rocks to crack the shell...
 
The last "goat" that they showed was a chamois sub-adult. The adults weigh about 65-80 lbs. I saw a similar video on PBS that was about ibex and golden eagles.

My brother and I were bowhunting elk near Dubois, Wyoming back in 1980 when we observed a golden eagle try to flush a bighorn lamb off a cliff. It never touched the sheep but dived on it repeatedly. The attack failed.
