I was browsing the gun auction sites and was looking at a new Browning shotgun. The seller said that due to a fire at Browing arms which burned down the factory this gun would not be available again for some time. The gun was a Browning Synergy o/u. Has anyone else heard anything to confirm or denie whether this is true or not?

Nope, I haven't heard that. I shot a Synergy a while ago, and it does tame the recoil. It all depends on if you lean towards the traditional look or the more modern look.

Dwight,

Havent heard that. I do know that most of the Browning Shotguns are made either in Japan (BPS Pumps & i think o/u's ) or Belgium (Gold semi's). The Belgium ones are sent to Portugal for assembly though.
