Shot this guy yesterday evening... 115lb Six point,,, after I was at full draw, he turned slightly toward me so I held on his shoulder. The blood was hard to find at first (the arrow came out gut) but once we found the first drop is was a easy trail. I used a 66lb Mathews Outback, Easton Axis arrow, and a 100g Crimson Talon broadhead.

Congrats! How did the CT broadhead hold up one the shoulder? Good to see some hard horn, most of the ones around our place are still in velvet. Seems late this year...

The Talon went through the shoulder almost unscathed... there was a slight curl on one blade edge. When these heads first came out they were junk, but the company really listened to the hunters and now they are as tough or tougher than most heads out there,,, and they fly better than field points!

congratulations on the nice buck... should be good eating.
