How to dunk your revolver in water and it still go bang!

Video we did yesterday explaining how we dunked the cylinder of my navy replica in water and it still went bang.

I’ve read about this from an article on a treatise written about Colt and his revolvers and what they did to weatherproof their guns. I tried how I thought they might have done it and it worked!

I remember seeing this year's ago, I also remember them paying special attention to the lead shaving after using the loading lever on the .454 ball. Idk why you are apprehensive to recommend it. Outside of some extra fowling in the barrel, it feels fool proof.
