When a guy who lives 800 miles from you, whom you never met, and know only as a fellow forum member goes out of his way to do you a favor, you know there are still good people left in this world. That seems to be especially true in the muzzleloading community.

A while back LarryBud had a post about a Lyman Great Plains rifle he spotted in a mom and pop shop in his travels. In an exchange of PM's he offered to pick it up for me when he traveled in that area again. Well he did just that. Got me a great deal and didn't make a penny on it for himself.

It arrived today.

That's a good looking rifle and an even better story behind how it came to you. Hats off to you Larrybud, very nice of you. With all the garbage you hear on the news about how people are today I still believe there's plenty of good ones out there.
