Found an interesting one the other day...





Just fun stuff for me, but I am easily amused!

This one has me stumped as I am not sure what it is. Initially I thought it was chert, until I broke it in half, but I was able to get some usable sherds from it. Sparks fine no problems. Oh well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth!!

There is a old indian chert mine on the in laws farm. Every spring before we plant we have to go to the field to pick out all the chert that came up over winter.
