Picked up a whole bunch of these bullets, 425 gr. for a .58. Has anyone had any experience with them?
Accurate as all get out in my gun, but how do they perform on game?
Thanks

As long as they are accurate, they should do just fine in the taking of large game. That is a big conical and a big hole. Good luck to you.

I am sure that the are big enough. What I was attempting to find out is if these minis, which are a different shape than the old civil war type, still display the known tendency of the standard mini to veer off course after impact. This was considered to be a problem when fired at humans, which are much smaller than the game I intend to use them for. These have a tip shape much like a T/C Maxi Ball.
So, if I may repeat my question:
Does anyone have any experience with the "Winchester Sutler" mini ball. in .58
Thanks
