Sabotloader was kind enogh to send me a .40 cal 195 grain Liegh bullets to try. I was impressed how well they shot with the first and only load I tried . 70 grains Blackhorn 209 with Harvester smooth blue sabots. I am sure i could shrink these groups . Groups were right at .75 center to center. Distance was 105 yards. This gun is a old .45 1-20 Disk . Stock is just a plastic thumbhole . No bedding . This gun will shoot considerably better sabotless . If I had more time and bullets I am sure i could get my groups down to .5 MOA .I think these bullets would be a awsome hunting bullet inside of 200 yards.

I will be buying some of these bullets to try next hunting season. They will make a awsome hunting bullets for kids . For that matter anyone as long as distances remain reasonable . I am sorry i should of taken a picture of the bullets before shooting.

Lehighs bullets do shoot good, but wait till you see their performance on game. Its a real eye opener.

The reason my groups moved . I should of allowed the barrel cool between shots . I noticed as my barrel heated up my groups moved lower . I was very impressed how well the bullets shot with no load development. I literally shot one shot after another. I am positive with some load development I could easily get my groups down to .5 MOA .

That is a Knight base with Nightforce lightweight rings and a Sightron scope

No , I think they would make a awsome hunting bullet inside of 200 yards. Not heavy enough nor good enough BC for long range . I have 3 daughters and take youg kids hunting every year. I like this type of bullet for reduced loads. When i take someone hunting I keep the shots under 100 yards . Most times I have the hunters use one of my guns . This Type of bullet fits my needs.
