A couple of adorable gals! Since they are field bred what are you planning on hunting with them?

Love them! I had s full bred English Springer Spaniel. She was the best dog I ever had. Man did she love to hunt. If there was a bird in the field/woods she find them. Besides being a great hunting dog she was a great loving house dog as well. It killed me when I had to put her to sleep.

We sort of hunt a little of everything and hopefully they’ll do the same. Some grouse hunting, a little waterfowl hunting from canoes and maybe retrieve a few rabbits and squirrels. Besides all that, FB Eng cockers are wonderful family dogs.
The light red pup is Piper, the black pup is still waiting on a name.

You know when it comes to cockers I really don't know the difference. Rusty looked like your pups and really was a nice dog. He just knew how to get over on me. He would run away and I would chase him all over the neighbor hood. When I would finally catch up to him he would turn and put the run on me. As we both got older I learned how to deal with him and he mellowed out some. But he still loved to run !

I realize this is a few months old but I really like the looks of that light red pup, do you mind me asking where you got them? I had no idea there were English cocker spaniels and American.

The red pup was from Southern Country Kennels in Georgia. The black pup is from Kirby Mountain Sporting Dogs in Vermont. We had the red pup delivered by a delivery service called The Gundog Express, they make a loop around most of the Eastern US picking up pups from breeders and delivering them to your door. I live close enough to pick up the pup from Kirby Mountain. Please feel free to PM me if you have questions about English Cockers.

As we get more serious about a dog in a year or two, I'll reach out. I did some reading last night and they sound like neat little dogs.
