Carry Items

Hi.

Pa just added a muzzleloader bear season so I picked up my 1st inline. I have a flintlock and have hunted with it the last few years. I know all the carry items for flintlock but they seem overkill for inline.

What should I carry inline related?

I plan on going with BH209. Are there any special quick loads tubes that work well?I

Thanks I make them. 4 or 6 tube belt pouches. A few guys on here have bought them from me. I hunt minimalist so a possibles bag just isn’t for me

They retail higher but to forum members they start at $35 plus s&h including tubes and capper. Tubes will hold over 100 gr. Feel free to pm me

If you want to go cheap and serious red neck, you can get a couple Mosin Nagant belt ammo pouches. They're pretty weatherproof, cheap and quite durable. I use 2 sets. Each set has 2 compartments.1 compartment holds bullets/ sabots and the other, powder tubes. The other set, patches, an SKS solvent bottle filled with rubbing alcohol, and the other compartment , my T handle, bore guide, patch worm, nipple pick and ball puller. Very secure and never in the way.

Check out the Lanes tubes at the top of the Classifieds section. I just drop those in my pocket. I carry a few patches in a little Ziploc bag in my pocket too.

Rick....pm me your mailing info and I'll send you a few of the lanes tubes that are shown here. I like the short Lanes tubes for my loads and the ones shown are the larger [longer] ones. If you're going to shoot sabot/bullets the sabots carrying a bullet fit in these nicely. I can get four .50 sabots and bullets in one tube. I ended up with a bunch of the long tubes thru a mis-understood order and won't use them other than to carry extra bullets and primers afield and you're welcome to what I won't use.

I just received my Pouch from Willfish4fud and am I impressed with the quality. I ordered the 6 tube pouch as I generally hunt with my young grandsons and I thought I would go for the 6 tube pouch. If I was just hunting by myself the 4 tube pouch would be sufficient, but things can happen and a extra tube of caps or whatever may come in handy??? This Pouch will last me a lifetime! Way to go RICK!! Thanks for a top notch quality pouch!!

Best $30 you'll ever spend. Period. TC Muzzcharger. Fits nicely into the side pocket of most cargo style pants. Place your load into each cylinder (3), drop it over your muzzle, pull up in the handle, rotate one click, shove the handle down, follow with your ramrod, and your done. Takes longer to read it than to load it. I have one of the TC, and three of the Traditions EC Loaders, the TC is by far the better quality, aluminum starter with a brass jag, vs. all plastic on the Traditions. The four little holes on the side hold four 209'primers and the little silver metal piece to the left of the starter is a small pry bar, about 2.5" long for removing a stuck primer. Features not found on the Traditions. Found mine at Walmart in Cedar City Utah last year.

I forgot to mention the larger hole on the left that you can just see, is a palm saver to go over your ramrod then you can use the whole charger to shove the load down instead of the palm of your hand over the 3/8 diameter rod end. Very nice product!
