CVA Accura V2 .45 Load Data?

Has anyone shot the New CVA Accura V2 LR .45 Cal and what load Data can you provide
I am going to try the New Power Belt ELR Bullet and start with Blackhorn at 100 then 120 and then 140
Primers on hand are Federal 209A CCI Mgnums have been ordered. I'm also going to try the Powerbelt
Platinum Bullet which I have had great success with in addition to the Aerolite Red Tip Black Bullet.
I love the Aerolite but need a pass through bullet.Also has anyone checked the Brochure that comes with the Powerbelt ELR Bullets? There is I believe an error,look at the trajectory column on the right.Scope on this Rifle is the Trijicon 2.5-10 X 56 AccuPoint Triangle Post in Green. Any Help here is much Appreciated.

Here is the Data on the Powerbelt Brochure included with the ELR bullets
I'm assuming that it meant to show Data for 100,120 and140 grains og Blackhorn 209

BTW, any chance you could weigh the rifle? Claimed weights listed are all over the place.

The real world BC of the Paramount ELR was proven to be .333 and .335 by a couple different people. Not the .452 listed originally by CVA and what is printed on your information.

Im still very curious about the actual weight of the Accura 45cal LR. The 50cal is about 8.1lbs from what i can dig up but even that weight is different depending on the source.

I have the Trijicon Scope rings and bases on the rifle and a TC Sling 10.5 lbs

the 2.5 X 10 X 56 scope is rated at 20.7 OZ add the rings 2 piece base and sling in there at a guess of another 8 to 12 oz
I would guess that almost 2 lbs off the total gun weight so 8.5 to maybe 9 lbs

Thanks, that is just what i thought. Its 8.3lbs or more. I cant imagine how it would weigh less than the 50cal LR.

excellent accuracy at 65yds tight 1" group I will be at a 200 yd range next week and will shoot it out to that distance.
this was with the ELR bullet. Platinum and Aerolites shot well but 3" lower 100 grains of Blackhorn Federal 209A primers

Some of the barrels might interchange on some of the receivers, but CVA won't sell you a barrel without a receiver attached to it.

They have discontinued all of the switch barrel rifles such as the Optima Elite Stalker, and Apex. All their rifles in both muzzleloader and center fire configurations are all designated barrels and receivers now.

That said, some barrels will obviously lock up fine on other receivers. Nobody is going to sell you just a new fast twist .45 cal barrel, not even CVA unfortunately.

My .45 LR weighed in at 8.3 lbs. Heavier than I'd like. I like cheap bullets and powder. Mine shot an 1-1/4" group at 100 yds. with 85 gr. of Black MZ and knurled 300 gr. PT Scorpion Golds over a 1/8" unlined felt wad. I tried them with 100 gr. of BMZ without knurling, and they loaded too easy, and shot a 4-1/2" group. I tried PRBullets 240 gr. Dead Centers (not cheap) with 115 gr. 777, and shot 1-1/4" group. All with Fed 209 primers. I'd like to shoot Remington .458 405 gr. bullets for elk. That's what I've been using in my .50 with great success. I sized them to .451 with my Lee sizing die, and they bounced back to .4515, and had to be hammered down the barrel. I wasn't sure it was safe to shoot them that tight, so I didn't. Guess I'll have to try an adjustable sizing die. I love the feel of the rifle, and love the trigger. Just wish it were lighter.

Any gun I've ever owned in the last almost 50yrs can either drive tack's at 50-100yrds or it quickly becomes a boat oar or hammer LOL. I'm really looking forward to reading your 200yrs results. Thanks for the post. Good luck & keep shooting

That's why I'd love to see them put the fast twist .45 cal on the Accura MR, or even the Optima. They'll probably milk it out on the V2 for as long as they can to help sell that model?

If someone wants a fast twist (1:20) tip-up on a stainless steel receiver with a removable brake, you can buy a Scout TD in .45-70 for $325 - $350. Have a outstanding breech plug/ignition system installed in it, and you can either shoot Blackhorn 209, other BP Subs,. or even some of those exotic powders in it if you like.

Would be nice to see the Nitride MR in the fast twist .45 though for a nice handling lighter hunting rifle.
