I spend a lot of time on the sister Forum but I have found this one to contain a lot of valuable information that is not allowed on the other Forum.
So I have been visiting here for a while and thought I had better say "Hello" to all the members.
I shoot several in-lines of the CVA variety as well as several cap locks and flint locks.
I enjoy popping hogs when I find them, deer when in season, and squirrels when they cooperate...

Thank you!
I have a friend that lives up Michigan way, always has great hunting stories when we talk!
I bet that TC White Mntn is a hoot to shoot!

I enjoy the extended season also. I try to harvest my ration of deer meat with a muzzle loader even during regular rifle season.
I've had a blast chasing squirrels this year with the smooth bore muzzle loaders!
I just get tickled watching the cloud of white smoke drifting up as my prize thumps the ground...

Now we're talking! My neighbor hunts in Honey Hole but for some reason he cant muzzleloader hunt on his lease so I take him to mine...Welcome to the group! I found a LHR Redemption this past year, like new for a price I couldn't pass on and can't wait to give her a go this season.

Thank you for the warm welcome!
They are probably scared that he will harvest something they cannot...
I run into it all the time with archery equipment. They don't understand it, therefore it is not allowed...
Good luck with the new to you rifle! I've been watching a nice one for the last two nights, coming in after dark.
If he keeps up the vigilance, he should be around next year.
Happy shooting!
Sam A.
