I have one I'll use my Sharps black powder cartridge rifle , 45-70 can be loaded same way

There’s a video on Facebook (deer & deer hunting) that shows everything. Looks like it’s going to be a leaker for sure.
How can it leak. The powder charge is encapsulated in that so called firestick. No more likely to leak than a .410 shell.

Enter Federal’s groundbreaking, new FireStick propellant capsule powered by Hodgdon’s new Triple 8 granular powder
https://www.federalpremium.com/muzzleloading/firestick/
Physical features of the FireStick consist of a polymer capsule precisely filled with an exact charge of all-new, ultra-clean black powder substitute Hodgdon Triple 8 granular powder.

And BTW i did a quick patent search and did not see anything new from Hodgdon. So either it has not been posted yet or they are using someone else's powder and rebranding.

WOW!! These retail for $26.99/10 shots. And that's just the powder charge. You still have to add the bullet and primer. Plus a specialized rifle that shoots this particular configuration. Why?

I couldn't afford to shoot enough to know how well it performs. I'm too cheap. I don't see how people will invest in something that may be a dead end.

I have a feeling that if they’ve gone to the trouble of designing and building this that they’ve got it in writing that it will be legal in some states.
If Colorado doesn't allow sabots, pellets, or scopes, I'm pretty sure that this system won't fly here either. And seriously, a 1:28 twist?? Looks like a pig in a poke to me!!

I want to know more about this Hodgdon Triple 8 Granular powder. I couldn't care less about the new Federal Fiddlesticks nor new weapons designed to take them, but I've been wondering for a few years what would come along as the Best New Thing in muzzleloading black powder substitutes after Blackhorn 209, in terms of convenience and lower residue corrosiveness in barrels and actions.

Is Hodgdon finally taking a shot at Western's title? Is this stuff going to be withheld from direct retail sales to end users like us for any reason? (For instance, if force over volume measured isn't close to that of actual black powder, will they keep it off of shelves so we don't get the ratios wrong and blow ourselves up?)
