I just bought a Lightning. It came with bolt, etc disassembled. I’m pretty sure I have it figured out but just double checking to make sure I’m not missing anything. If Anyone can provide pics of bolt etc and final correct assembly I’d appreciate it.

Just a FYI, the whitetail and Lightning have the same parts except for the hammer design an the Lightning cocking lever is on the right side, the Whitetail is on the left. Basically the same design assembly wise.

Beware of the Lightning stock tho, it is myrtlewood and prone to crack/break in the pistol grip of the stock with strong loads. You or a gunsmith can fix that with a wooden dowel glued inside the grip making it stronger.

I own two Lightnings, use 777-3f in both. One likes 75 grs the other 80 grs. I was shooting 454 gr bullet I molded, now using 240 gr XTPs.

Had these guns for about 10 years with no cracking problems.
