I emailed Lyman earlier this week asking if we'll see an updated 3rd edition of the BP Handbook. With T7, Swiss, OE, and BH209 not being around back when the 2nd edition (2001) was published it is kinda dated data wise. I received an email today saying that the ballistics team is currently working on the 3rd edition. ETA is 1 to 2 years out.

Yeah, so much of those older M-L books are dated, with inlines and modern powder substitutes. Of course one could be using the more traditional rifles and handguns, nothing wrong with that.
Just shows how valuable forums like this can be, with up to the hour information. One just has to sift through some opinions at times, normal ops with the WW web.

I do use more traditional rifles and am looking forward to pressure data with Swiss and OE powders. Really interested in how it compares to Goex red can pressure wise.

When Bryce wrote his book triple seven powder hadn't even come on scene yet, so yeah it really needs an update along with BH209.
