Same hazmat fee is charged whether you buy 1 lb or 20 lb. Try to get a group order together to reduce the cost.

I thought so. I better plan on buying more than 1 or 2 containers then.

If you don’t need it right away you can wait a little bit and a lot of places will run a sale with no hazmat fees.

I wish I knew when the sales were coming up. I'm set on Goex and Swiss but a little thin on the substitutes which I use in my C&B revolvers.

I broke down and bought some Black MZ. I like it in my C&B revolvers and the price was right even with the $20 hazmat fee so I picked up 6.

Yeah, guys with the revolvers seem to really like it because the fouling is minimal vs your other options.

I broke down yesterday and ordered some Black MZ. It was free shipping over $49 and $20 hazmat fee so I figured it evened out.

If you end up liking it I've got a buddy that makes a trip to Iowa every 2 or 3 months. I'm going to have him run by and grab me some his next trip so no shipping. Figured for the price I'd try it in some of my guns and if nothing else burn it up at the range. Since your in Mo it would be easy enough to get it to you.

I picked up some BlackMZ at Sportsman's Warehouse a couple of years ago. I don't like that it is larger granules, and it can clump a bit, but at the range, I can't tell the difference between it and 777. I just ordered a bunch online from them for $10/lb. to deliver to their store. No hazmat, no shipping, just sales tax. I have enough to work up a bunch of loads in my muzzleloaders. I still hunt with 777 because I belive it measures better, but it shoots the same in my guns. I have a variflame adapter, and a mold, and now I can afford to shoot a lot for a little. At $1 a shot for Blackhorn, and $1 or more for most bullets, plus $0.06 or more for primer, it is no wonder most hunters only shoot 10 or 15 rounds a season.

I mentioned this before and you did not respond....How are you coming up with $1 per shot for BH209? The math dont workout for me even at $40 a bottle and max loads. There are 52ish shots using max load data per 10oz bottle. That comes out to 77 cents per shot. Dropping down to a more common load equivalent of 100grV you get around 73 shots per bottle or around 54 cents per shot when adjusted for a velocity match to most other subs.

Plenty of good bullets around here for 50-60 cents each or less
Primers around here are $4/100 or less
Sabots can be had for 12-14 cents each Grafs.
