I poured up some .54 Cal Bullets this morning as well, These are a .54 Cal Version of the .50 Bullshop Bullet. I ended up with 55 of them, About 55 Years worth :p These things weigh in at 523 Grains, They Shoot STELLAR if you do your part, and can Absorb the Recoil without Flinching. I ran these through my .542 Sizer. I need to get my .54 GM LRH (My “White Whale” Barrel) Out and work up a Load with these :lewis:

Nice conicals, now those Id like to try in my Bobby Hoyt barrel Renegade, that's what he bored the barrel for was 500 gr and up conical.
It shoots no Excuse 535 gr pretty good no more then Ive shot it(5 times)

Wow! Great looking bullet.

I bet they would shoot great in the grey hawk 54 of mine

I just ran the numbers on JBM out of Curiosity for a Stock 1:48 Twist, i was pretty confident it wouldn’t Work?, Glad I didn’t bet on this or i would have Lost :D it gave a Stability rating of 1.430, the Military standard is 1.5, So Yea, this Big bullet Should do fine in a Stock 1:48 Twist. I know it shoots Really well in Fast 1:28, 1:32 Twists.

What did you have him Twist that one to?

Lewis, I just told him to put whatever twist he thought best for the bigger conical above 500 gr, wont swear to it but seems he told me 1:26 is what he did it in but could be something different as its been a couple years ago..

I stand corrected its been 4 yrs since Bobby did this barrel have owned gun 6 yrs, man time flys.. went back and checked and I've shot the gun with the 535 gr no excuse maybe 15 times and best groups I got off shooting sticks were right at 3 in. standing up.
I was thinking Id shot some 1.5 in groups at 50 yds with it but that was before I chopped barrel and was with 240 gr xtps/sabots.
So it looks like I need to get out and shoot this thing a bunch just to see what it will really do, goes to show I shouldn't depend on my memory:)
