This Country is tough on a Guy that likes to Shoot I loaded up yesterday to Shoot 200, maybe 300 Yards if i could find anywhere Open Enough from Snow? No such Luck! I drove a good 60 Miles in Search of Somewhere to Get Distance, It’s Simply to early yet, WAY to much Snow to get anywhere. The place i shot my Fast Twist .36 Cal the other Day out to 200 is a poor Spot, I can’t use my Bench there, I have to shoot Over my Hood. I live in a BAD place to Shoot/Practice Long Range Shooting, It is REALLY tough to find anywhere you can get over 200-300 Yards without having to Pack your Targets in, I don’t mind packing Paper Targets, But it’s a Different deal with a Steel Gong. Try packing my 18” Square 1/2” AR500 Plate across a Brushy Old Logging Unit
This is what our Mountain rd entrances look like right now, This is stil in the Bottom Lowland, not even Started up on the Hill. About 1 mile out this Rd i have a Decent spot to Shoot 200, 300 Yards, But it’s NOT gonna happen til Mid April, And up in the Mountains will be About Mid May. Somebody tried here, all they did was get stuck and Tore the Rd up underneath.
