I have a single trigger Renegade Hunter with a pretty heavy trigger pull. Any suggestions for lightening it up, or should I just see about trying one of those E-Z Pull trigger assists? From what I can tell there are no adjustments like there are on the double trigger standard Renegade.

Thank you for posting that thread link CatamountRob. After reading it for the 3rd time and still not completely comprehending it. I came to the conclusion I will not be attempting it myself.:( LOL Now if there was a video for me to watch , that might be a different story.;)

I might do a Video on this, it’s really not Difficult to do, it seems more so than it is. I know a Few members have followed me here and made good Triggers of their Single Trigger Rifles. I love my New Englander Trigger Now! (The one i did in Making this thread) A Video would be Easy to do on this, Hang in there, I’ll try and figure out a Good Layout for it and Get it Done :lewis:

Finally got it!!!!!
After seeing CatamountRob's last picture post and going back and re-reading Lewis's post from Jan 2018 for the umpteenth time I decided to take a stab at it last night and this morning. What was in my estimation about a 10 lbs trigger is now at about 3 to 4 lbs.(I do not have a trigger pull scale) I have had everything apart and back together about 5-6 times. I can see where the sear and tumbler have made rub marks along the inside of the plate. I will take it apart one more time and polish those areas.
Thank you very much CatamountRob and Idaholewis.
