Darn!!! it is Sunday and it is a beautiful day! I really want to go shooting since my granddaughter's softball tourney over.(another troubled subject)

BUT! the yard needs mowed, the car needs to be cleaned up, the truck needs gas, the woodshop needs picked up, and the list goes on, and I have not even started on Terry's things to do list.

I really do want to go shoot!

So I showed Terry - the yard really isn't that bad!

But I could go big game hunting back there - if the neighbors didn't mind

Don't feel that bad. I have all my work completely done, have my own range, all kinds of propellants and bullets, plus I'm long retired.

But, which is worse? I'm...…….

Decisions Decisions...
We All Have Them. Planting Trees next Weekend or Picking Up Blown Down Branches or Both and so on...

I can make it! I can make it! I can make it!
I know the wait will be well worth it in the end ;)

OK so you are Pragmatic? a person dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations. or wait maybe it is more 'theoretic' - I do not know!

I have offered several times to send him a gun ! Offer is still good ? Just need a address
I'm good.
I shoot almost every day to some extent or another. My Gamo gets a lot of use, the 17HMR isn't far behind, I can get out the .450 Bushmaster, or even dad's old 30-06 to play. I could even get the old 40-60 out and try some irons.
Thanks Doug, but good things come to those who wait...…. ;)

I’d give you anything also Chet . Don’t have a .410 91 but do have a .410 Thunderbolt . Still need a .50 Thunderbolt to complete the set and would pay a pretty penny to get one !

If your granddaughters tournament is over how’s that going to affect Coeur d'Alene and the 1:20 Ultra light if I make it through there next Weekend

The CDL tournament, this weekend was in Pendleton, Oregon - the one next week is in CDL and the one the following weekend is in the Tri-Cites. She's is 11 playing on a 12U traveling team (and this is not unusual) but she has already played in 27 games this spring with several more weekends to go! I get a lot of softball watching in!

So if I get it - it will be there with me... Which I should check on that on Monday. Do you have any Red Plastic Jackets? I have gotten rid of most of mine. Hold that thought I just found a whole box new primed jackets. They are primed with T7 primers but they will ignite BH with a Lehigh/Lehigh-Knight plug.

I will let you know more as I know more.

Ok thanks

Encore.... the last few posts have brought the matter to the fore front for me! I totally understand the image you submitted! I fully understand that feeling ANYTIME I am in waiting mode for a rifle to show! Makes a ton of sense now!

Well today was to be the day! I have the time and had plan on shooting!!! but! Mother Nature has had a twist in doing her thing! Wind plenty of it and thick heavy grey clouds - suggesting

So back to the waiting - guess I will just go to work for awhile - sometimes I really dislike work!

Well..... the day started out great, then things went not so great.
Age is catching up with me. Got a foot tangled up in the swing on the back patio and down I went. Hit with my right hip, knee and shoulder on the concrete. Head fortunately, hit in the grass just off the patio. I don't remember hitting the ground that hard since I flew off a dirt bike and broke a bunch of bones. I laid there for a few minutes until I could get my ship back together, which I may still not be totally together. Ended up with a slight head ache, the top of my foot is all bruised, the knee is sore as hell and the hip....... That SOB hurts. I don't think its broke or fractured, but damn its hart to walk.
It ain't easy keeping the old man out.......

Shoot every chance you get.

Get it checked out! As I have said many times "it is terrible to get old - but it does beat the alternative"

I was going to run out this afternoon, but Terry reminded me I have a 'study table' scheduled for a highs school softball athlete. So I am stuck here!
