Winners IH AGG. 1st-Doug Schwartz 168-8x 2nd- Chris Cartwright 165-7x 3rd- Todd Fisk 165-5x I'll let Bestill fill you in on the rest , this is all I have. This was one of best Nationals I have seen, kind of like the old days as I remember. Comradship , fun , kidding and Joking , but serious competition , enjoyed greatly.

I completely agree with 45/70 on possibly the best nationals ive ever attended. We had a absolute blast hanging out and competition was absolutely the best in the world.

I have done my best to share the scores for all available inline matches available at front for the inline shooters and i completed every available match.
I personally shoot 260 shots in 14 matches this year in 3 days and truly enjoyed it.
And attended the national 6 days this year shooting, spotting and help wherever needed. On a personal level I had a great nationals.
Bestill Creations as a company made a great showing. All 3 aggregates and match 310 and 321 top 3 places were with Bestill customs or manufacturer guns equipped with Bestill ignition systems.
I am truly honored to be a small part of shooters success in this sport.

IH agg
1st and 2nd place knight mountaineers with Bestill equipped ignition
3rd place tc omega with Bestill equipped ignition

Short range agg
1st and 2nd place Bestill Creations custom
3rd place knight 40cal with Bestill custom bolt and asg lrmp ignition

Long range agg
1st place knight 40cal with Bestill custom bolt and asg lrmp ignition

Match 310
1st Bestill Creations custom

Match 321
1st and 2nd Bestill Creations custom
3rd knight with Bestill equipped ignition

The atmosphere in my opinion has truly turned for the best and the future looks great at friendship and nmlra.

I hope to ser many new faces come September and expect more new inline matches to come.

Fyi the new short and long range matches are incredibly difficult.
Every target is 1/2 moa or smaller so definitely makes it super tuff.
Sub-sub moa is pretty tuff.

Thanks to all staff and volunteers that make such a wonderful event possible.

I heard near 900 shooters registered this year. WoW!

I had a excellent time . We all tried to help each other to shoot the best possible score . I enjoy helping others shoot as much as myself doing the actual shooting .

I tried my best to represent Knight Rifles and Bestill Creations . I had a couple of first this weekend . I shot the entire match off a good set of Atlas Bipods . Can’t really say it helped or hurt just different . I really like the idea of just using bipods but they seem to be a little finicky compared to a good rest or just a sand bag . I have tried just about everything and have found it really does not matter. Good form and consistency is the key .

The 2nd thing I tried was a new .40 cal Knight with a 1-16 twist with Bestill Creations module system. The upgraded ignition system was a must due to the higher pressures created by the smaller caliber. I was using 84 grains Blackhorn with a 250 grain Accumax bullets at aprox 2400 FPS . With the smaller caliber I am able to gain FPS and BC allowing me to shoot a lighter bullet and basically do the same thing as a .45 with heavier bullets . The true test was to shoot this new .40 Knight rifle in the long range match . This match consist of 5 shots at 500,400 and 300 yards. I did not shoot any outstanding targets but I was very consistent shooting MOA or sub MOA groups at each distance . That is tuff to do with conditions and the pressure of competition . I picked a good day to shoot this match at 500 yards I had very little wind . 400 yards wind started gaining with 300 yards wind was really starting to come in and swirl but at 300 yards I could manage the wind . I was very fortunate to win this new 500 yard match .

Honestly the highlights for myself was catching up with my very close friend Jeff Fisk and getting to know Bob Wetzler and Jason Day better . Two really good guys . I was able to shoot with Bob off and on all week . The better I get to know Bob the more I like him . Bob shot a amazing group at 300 yards off cross sticks at the young age of 70 . Completely kicked my butt at that distance .I would hate to see what that man could do with a bench properly set up to fit him . Prone position is one of the most accurate ways to shoot but when you are in a marathon shooting 50 to 75 shots in a match it is very hard to control your heart beat getting up and down . Hats off to all you guys mastering prone position .

Well this is about all I have .
If you are even thinking of attending Friendship please do . My offer still stands for anyone wanting to attend . I would be more than willing to help anyone shoot or even provide a gun to do so . The older I get the more I enjoy just helping . Please feel free to pm me

You are one heck of a shooter Doug, enjoyed shooting with you. I am also glad you helped at 500 , might not ever got on

Hey Jeff, could you please describe the Omega ignition. Would it work in a standard Omega? Thank you.

I make a custom plug for factory Tc omega that utilizes a tungsten carbide bushing and press fit 209 pocket which requires a decapping tool.

This upgrade runs $150 that includes installation and return shipping of barreled action only.

So i need barrel and trigger assembly to do upgrade.

No leak system

Bestill.....will you do that for an Accura V2?

Wow, that would be the real deal! Really advances the capability of the Omega.

................For my hunting load of just 90g Blackhorn, and just 250g Deep Curl, things can be simply simple. No decapping tool required. My dream breech plug would be a tad longer than the standard Omega plug, just 0.005". The extra length would allow for a crush to the Federal 209A primer. The resulting clean burn would make for happy shooter.

Making the plug 0.005" longer would allow using the Federal 209A primer in every Omega i have shot, without blow by. My dream.

My plug system is definitely not for everyone but for precision accuracy and a 60 shot match without any maintenance to breech and 100% seal.

That's what makes me happy

There were a couple of .40 cal Omegas at Friendship besides the 1-20 .45 TC Omega Jeff shot in the IH Match . They all worked extremely well with Jeff’s ignition. I love my Knights but I also love the simplicity of a Omega . One TC Omega has a 29” .40 cal Rockcreek barrel . That gun does not look out of portion at all. TC really messed up dropping that gun .

Jeff can do some amazing custom builds with a TC Omega .
