A fellow has a .50 ULA Model 20 muzzleloader with a Zeiss Conquest 3x9 scope and two spare breechplugs. The firearm is clean. Any idea what a fair offer for this gun is? Thanks

Nope but I want one. I can tell you I offered someone 800 for the rifle with no scope and was all but laughed at. So apparently it's worth more than 800.

Its well worth the price you mentioned on the other board, assuming it was not abused. Original price back in 2007ish was either $800 or $900. Last ones Melvin made sold for $1500-$1800 and took a year to get one. Best price i ever saw for that scope was $300 on close out from EuroOptics....Really nice scope too btw.

Model 20 action gets its name from its weight....It weighs 20oz. The stock weighs 17oz. It would cost a small fortune to build a ML in that weight range using a Rem 700 foot print.

Thanks for all your help. It is clean as a pin. Barrel and everything well taken care of. Don't think he shot it much as he had 4 other SMLs and several BP guns. I ended up getting the entire package for $745. Felt good about it.

I can't see any way you got hurt on that deal!:lewis: Congrads. That is definitely been on my dream list.

I just looked back at the original Post. So it came with the Zeiss Conquest scope too. That was a great deal IMHO! I would have torn my pocket off getting to my wallet, But alas it would only have cobwebs in it at the moment! :(

lol, thanks for the generous offer. I have a good wife but she is starting to think I have too many MLs.
